Global game company HAEGIN (CEO Young-il Lee) has announced a Christmas update for its casual social network game Play Together.
In this update, the day before Christmas, the NPC Hunter Cash sneaks into Santa’s workshop and presses a button on a mysterious, shimmering device, accidentally awakening the toys, who scatter across Kaia Island. The next morning, Santa and his elves discover the empty workshop and turn to players for help recovering the runaway toys.
Players must work alongside Santa and his elves to gather the escaped toys and save Christmas. A total of 15 toys, including the Santa Penguin Toy, Thunder Mecha Robot, and Sniffling Teddy Bear, are hidden throughout Kaia Island and can be easily captured with a bug net.
Alongside stamp missions where helping Santa and his elves rewards players with items like the Oinky-Oinky Piggy Bank Balloon, Clown Roly-Poly Hat, and Rawrligator Hat, the event also features the mission Catch the Christmas Toys!, where players collect toys to complete the Christmas tree.
Depending on the tree’s completion level, players can earn game currency, card packs, and the Santa's Workshop costume set. By using event coins in the minigame Santielle’s Ornament Machine, players can obtain special items such as the “Merry Christmas” name tag, Evergreen Velvet Ribbon and Fur Dress, and the Santa Classic Roadster (vehicle).
The farm system is also getting a winter makeover with new crops, including Fir Trees, Mandarins, Sumo Citrus, as well as seasonal favorites like Snowmen, Steamed Buns, and Fish-Shaped Pastries, adding a fresh layer of holiday charm.
