"Play Together" Announces My Melody & Kuromi Update

Game company HAEGIN (CEO Young-il Lee) has announced that their latest content update for their mobile casual social network game "Play Together" will feature the Sanrio characters.

The Sanrio characters Hotel has started a delivery service, and players must help the lovely My Melody with finding ingredients and cooking the food. When the food is ready, players are given the task of safely delivering the food with Kuromi.

By completing all the missions, players may collect the My Melody & Kuromi Coin as well as a draw ticket that players can use to draw items themed after "My Melody & Kuromi," such as costumes, vehicles, and furniture as rewards. The My Melody and Kuromi costumes have especially been designed with cuteness and chicness in mind and are expected to be popular among players like the previous Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll items.

Meanwhile, 20 insects, which include new butterflies and stag beetles, have been added to the game in time for summer. Also, starting on July 13th, players are able to participate in the Stag Beetle Hunt and the Summer Vacation Memories events.

The Summer Vacation Memories event is a photo contest consisting of four themes, which are, "Midsummer Night Camping," "Fun Times on the Water", "Summer Insect Know-It-All," and "Beautiful Summer Sky." From July 13th to July 24th, each event will run for every three days sequentially. By entering a photo into the event and receiving votes and points, players have a chance to acquire rewards such as Gems (paid currency) and Stars. Also, the contestant who receives an average score of 4.5 from the votes of Kaia Island residents will receive a special event profile as an additional reward.
