Bloons TD Battles 2 Tips & Tricks for faster progress

Bloons TD Battles 2 is now available on Google Play and the App Store. This game is published and developed by Ninja Kiwi. Bloons TD Battles 2 or Battles 2 or BTDB2 is the latest tower defense game in the Bloons game series.

The game is similar to the BTDB, where the player will have to prevent balloons sent by the opponent from traversing their track. While at the same time, they will also have the attack their opponent using Bloon Rush, which they can exchange for income in the game.

This article is intended to provide you with a better experience while playing Bloons TD Battles 2 mobile game. It contains my in-game experience. Assuming you are fully aware of the gameplay, I will tell you which towers combination you can choose for the best results. 

It should be noted that these are my opinions which I am telling. These are based on my personal experience. You can have your strategies which might be better than this. So without further ado, let's begin.

Which Towers To Choose?

Before you begin the battle, you will have to decide which towers you are going to choose? Not all the towers are unlocked from the start, and the experience gained to unlock them is very slow. So we will choose to start with basic towers and focus on upgrading them, then with enough experience gained, you can go for other towers. 

The Towers can be selected from Primary, Military, Magic, and Support options. Several of them are affordable and can be used during the battle's early stages. A few of them that should be your go-to choices are mentioned below: 

• Tack Tower – it has high popping power as it can shoot sharp tacks in 8-direction; the in-game cost is 600, which is quite effective.
• Bomb Tower – with an in-game cost of 600, this is another powerful tower that can launch Powerful Bombs. 
• Sniper Tower – can shoot on bloons from anywhere on the screen, though upgrades are expensive. The in-game cost is just 300.
• Monkey Sub Tower – One of the cheapest with an in-game cost of 130, this tower can shoot darts as nearby Bloons. It must be placed in water only. 
• Wizard Tower – It can hurl magical bolts of energy at the Bloons and have powerful spells at disposal upon upgrade. The in-game cost is 150.
• Alchemist Tower – as the name suggests, uses potions with different effects to attack bloon, generally acids. The in-game cost is 250.
• Village Tower – it can increase the range of all monkeys in its radius by 10%. The in-game cost is 400, but it is pretty much useful.

Any combination of 3 towers should do the trick.

Which Hero to Select?

After the tower, this is the most crucial selection. If you have completed the Tutorial, you must have 2 of the 4 heroes in your collection – Quincy and Gwendolin. For me, I would go with Quincy over Gwendolin. The reason is that Quincy can cover more balloons than Gwendolin and does not possess weakness to camo or purple bloons. Gwendolin gets stronger as the round increases, but it often doesn't happen. 

Also, it doesn't matter if you put your Hero first in the battle. The order and positioning are up to you. For instance, when using Bomb Tower and Quincy, I put Bomb first at the entry point. I place Quincy at the exit point to save me from leaks.

Bloons to use

To attack the opponent, you must send Bloons at them. Now, this requires some In-game cost and must master the trick of which bloon to send at which level so that it is effective and saves economy that can be used later.

• For Round 1 and 2 – Red Bloons. Though these can be popped with just one hit, they are the only bloons unclocked.
• For Round 3 and 4 – Blue Bloons, better than red, required two hits to bring it down.
• For Rounds 5 and 6 – you can go with green or white.  
• For rounds 7 through 9 – Yellow bloons are unlocked now. They are cost-effective and are one of the best Bloon to attack with.
• For Round 10 and higher – use Pink until white Bloons are unlocked. 

Apart from all these, you can claim small bonuses from the shop after every 6 hours, and at the end of the battle, you can multiply whatever reward you have by watching Ads. VIP members can get a 3x multiplier by watching Ads.
