Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 is officially titled Revenge, and this time the name is more than just seasonal flavor. The new season brings a full-scale crossover with The Boys, a new Battle Royale experience built around armored vehicles, the debut of the BAL-27 Assault Rifle, fresh events, premium Draws, and another major reward chase across the Battle Pass and Challenge Pass. Season 5 — Revenge launches on May 27 at 5 PM PT, which is May 28 at 8 AM GMT+8 for players in Asia.
Here is everything you need to know before dropping into COD Mobile Season 5.

Season 5 combines three major pillars: The Boys collaboration, new combat content, and reward progression. The crossover introduces Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir through themed content, while the core COD Mobile experience expands with Armored Royale, Supe’d Up Attack of the Undead, Vought Royale, the BAL-27, a new Challenge Pass, and limited-time store offers.

The headline addition in Revenge is the official Call of Duty: Mobile x The Boys collaboration. The confirmed featured characters are Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir. While earlier speculation around the season focused on what the URL and teaser structure might mean, the full Season 5 reveal now confirms that these three Supes lead the crossover content.
The Boys is built around brutal superhero spectacle, corporate propaganda, and characters whose powers feel dangerous rather than heroic. That tone fits naturally into COD Mobile’s seasonal model, where limited-time modes often remix standard gunplay with exaggerated mechanics. Revenge leans into that idea by giving players access to Supe-inspired abilities without turning the entire season into a superhero game.
The result is a crossover that works on two levels. For fans of The Boys, the season delivers recognizable characters, themed Draws, and Vought-inspired abilities. For COD Mobile players, it adds new tactical layers to familiar modes without replacing the weapon-first identity of the game.

Supe’d Up Attack of the Undead is a themed twist on Super Attack of the Undead. Operators are assigned as one of three Supes: Homelander, Starlight, or Black Noir. One player begins as the undead, and every eliminated survivor strengthens the undead side by converting more players. Human players rely on ranged weapons and equipment, while the undead side focuses on speed, agility, and melee pressure.
The key to surviving is not just aim — it is space control. Human players should avoid isolated corners unless they have equipment coverage and clear escape routes. Undead players should pressure from multiple angles instead of feeding one-by-one into ranged fire. As the final survivor, save your power for a decisive wave rather than activating it too early.

The Battle Royale side of the collaboration is Vought Royale, where doses of Temp V appear in deliveries across Isolated. Picking up a dose grants one random superpower, and that power is consumed when activated. The confirmed power pool includes Charge Jump, Laser Vision, Electric Shockwave, and Blink.
Do not treat Temp V as a panic button only. The strongest squads will use powers to start fights, break enemy positioning, or secure revives and rotations. Blink and Charge Jump are excellent for movement, Laser Vision is strong when enemies are exposed, and Electric Shockwave can punish teams grouped around vehicles or equipment.

Armored Royale is a squad-based Battle Royale mode built around each team’s personal armored vehicle. Players spawn near their vehicle, and keeping it alive is essential because it functions as a mobile spawn point. Squads can complete objectives to earn cash, upgrade the vehicle, and use repair stations to restore damage.
If you are eliminated while your vehicle is intact, you can respawn after a short cooldown. If the vehicle is destroyed, your team must use a Buy Station to purchase a redeploy marker. The last squad standing wins.
Armored Royale rewards squads that think beyond standard gunfights. Your vehicle is not just transportation; it is your lifeline. A team that wins every early fight but ignores vehicle health can still collapse late if its respawn point is destroyed.

The BAL-27 arrives as the new Season 5 Assault Rifle. It is a bullpup weapon with a fire rate that accelerates during sustained fire, making it a strong fit for players who can track targets through longer engagements. The weapon is available through the free tiers of the Revenge Battle Pass.
Because the BAL-27 ramps up as it continues firing, it should reward players who maintain aim through mid-range duels rather than relying only on quick burst damage. Expect it to feel different from standard low-recoil ARs: the opening shots may not tell the full story, and the weapon’s strength may become more obvious once you commit to a fight.
Use the BAL-27 in lanes where enemies cannot instantly break line of sight. Its accelerating fire rate should favor sustained pressure, so avoid wasting the opening part of the magazine on low-percentage pre-fire. In Multiplayer, it may perform best when paired with smart positioning and recoil control. In Battle Royale, it could become a reliable mid-range option if built for stability and magazine efficiency.
The Revenge Battle Pass includes both free and premium content, ranging from weapons and cosmetics to Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and COD Points.
Free-tier players can unlock the BAL-27 Assault Rifle, a Stealth Chopper Scorestreak reskin, weapon camos, Calling Cards, and additional cosmetics. This makes the free track important even for players who do not plan to buy the Premium Pass.
The Premium Pass includes Operator Skins such as:
Bulldog — The Responder
A frontline-style Operator Skin that fits the high-impact theme of Revenge.
BBQ — Oktoberfest
A more stylized seasonal skin that gives the pass a broader visual spread.
Klepto — The Dissenter
A fitting name for a season focused on revenge, rebellion, and factional conflict.
Premium Weapon Blueprints include:
Season 5 Ground Forces subscribers receive additional monthly rewards, a 10% boost to Player XP and Weapon XP, discount coupons, and limited discounts on 10x crate pulls. The listed Season 5 Ground Forces items include D-Day — Weekend Warrior, HS2126 — Shattered Shot, and Backpack — Heroic Flight.
The Boys themed event lets players choose between The Boys and Dawn of the Seven. Players earn faction points by playing and can unlock more than a dozen Epic-rarity rewards, including Holger 26 — Saved the Day Again, Manta Ray — Maritime, additional Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and cosmetics. After completing one faction’s assignments, players can unlock the second faction with accelerated progression, allowing dedicated players to earn all rewards.
The Second to None event brings 1v1 Duel action with adjusted round structure and map updates. Players use the selected Loadout and compete for rewards, including the Epic BK57 — Power in Number.
The Challenge Pass returns with Standard, Special, and Elite Missions. Completing missions grants Tokens that can be exchanged for seasonal items, including a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2-themed Stealth Chopper reskin. Players should check the Events tab and Mission Board throughout the season as new missions and rewards rotate in.
Mythic Kui Ji — Viridescent Oath

The major Mythic Operator release for Season 5 is Mythic Kui Ji — Viridescent Oath, featuring Ryotaro “Kui Ji” Nagashima. This version of Kui Ji has an otherworldly look with spiked armor and spectral energy. The Draw also includes the Legendary 3-Line Rifle — Verdant Vow Weapon Blueprint and other themed items.
Homelander Draw
The Homelander Draw features Homelander alongside the Legendary DRH — Homelander Pride Weapon Blueprint. The Draw also includes themed items such as Molotov Cocktail — Milk!, Emote — Above It All, a Legendary weapon charm, and additional Weapon Blueprints.
Starlight Draw
The Starlight Draw includes Starlight and the Legendary Sten — Starlight Radiance Weapon Blueprint. It also features Emote — Starry Flight, Flash Grenade — Light It Up, several Weapon Blueprints, and other cosmetics.
Black Noir Draw
The Black Noir Draw includes Black Noir and the Legendary DLQ33 — Noir Shadow Weapon Blueprint. Additional items include Karambit — Black Noir’s Blade, Emote — Silent Blade, a unique Gravity Spikes Operator Skill reskin, and more cosmetics.
Season 5 also expands the store with Zodiac Series Armory II, featuring astrologically themed Weapon Blueprints such as XM4 — Gemini, RAAL MG — Leo, KN44 — Earthen Charger, VLK Rouge — Cancer, and Man O War — Aries.
The Battle Pass Vault lineup also grows with The Heat and Digital Dusk. The Heat includes rewards such as Price — The Captain and Type 25 — Jungle Militia, while Digital Dusk brings items like Templar’s Shadow — Shrouded and Locus — Arctic Gold.
COD Mobile Season 5 — Revenge is one of the most content-heavy updates of 2026 so far. The Boys crossover gives the season its identity, but the update is not relying on licensed characters alone. Between Supe’d Up Attack of the Undead, Vought Royale, Armored Royale, the BAL-27, seasonal events, Battle Pass rewards, and premium Draws, Revenge has enough variety to serve Multiplayer grinders, Battle Royale squads, collectors, and free reward hunters alike.
