Mimir is a top backline DPS in Dragon Traveler, ideal for players seeking a high-scaling Archer focused on attack speed, multi-hits, shield stacking, and sustained physical damage. Unlike burst units, she grows stronger over time.
Her gameplay centers on building Shield of Wisdom through frequent basic attacks, then converting it into extra damage with Cyclone Slash and Time Flying Wheel. With the right gear, subclass, and team, she becomes a powerful scaling carry.

Attack Speed / Shield Scaling / Multi-hit Damage |
Mimir is best used as a backline carry. Keep her safe so she can stack Shield of Wisdom and cycle skills.
Her damage loop is simple: higher attack speed means more hits, which builds Shield of Wisdom faster. This boosts her shield and critical damage, and her skills convert that shield into extra physical damage.
She excels in long PvE fights and stable PvP teams with strong frontline protection.
Mimir Talent
Mimir’s Talent, Unparalleled Intelligence, is the core of her kit.
Her basic attacks release a wheel that hits multiple times. Each few hits grant Shield of Wisdom, which stacks to provide protection and boost critical damage.
At higher levels, the shield also grants random Blessing buffs, increases her attack and shield strength, and can share some buffs with Sanctum allies, making her effective in both Arcane and Sanctum teams.
Her talent also links Time Flying Wheel and Cyclone Slash, letting wheel damage reduce Cyclone Slash’s cooldown for faster skill cycling.
In short, her talent converts basic attacks into shields, shields into damage, and buffs into stronger sustained performance.
Mimir’s best gear setup focuses on Attack Speed first, then physical damage scaling.

Judgment Set |
The Night Owl Attack Speed Set is the most important part of her build. Since Mimir needs frequent basic attack hits to stack Shield of Wisdom, Attack Speed directly improves her core rotation.
Last Whisper gives her Penetration, which helps her physical damage stay effective against tougher enemies. Eagle Warrior Portrait adds more offensive pressure through the Judgment Set, making her damage more threatening once her shield stacks start building.

Survivability |
Attack Speed should always be treated as her main stat priority. Without enough attack frequency, Mimir takes too long to activate her shield-based damage cycle.

The best subclass for Mimir is Sharpshooter.
Sharpshooter fits her perfectly because she is a backline Archer who depends on sustained physical damage. This subclass strengthens her natural role instead of forcing her into a defensive or burst-only playstyle.
Mimir does not need to act like a frontline fighter. She needs protection, attack speed, and time. Sharpshooter allows her to focus on what she does best: staying in the backline and continuously dealing damage through repeated attacks and skill cycles.
For most players, Sharpshooter should be the default subclass choice.

Cyclone Slash
Cyclone Slash is Mimir’s Overdrive skill and one of her most important damage tools.
It grants Shield of Wisdom and deals many hits of physical damage to a single target. At the end of the skill, it also deals damage around the target in a large area. The key part is that each hit gains extra physical damage based on Mimir’s current shield value.
This means Cyclone Slash becomes much stronger after Mimir has already built up Shield of Wisdom. Try not to judge the skill only by its early damage. Its real power appears once her shield cycle is active.
Best use:
Boss fights
Elite enemy waves
PvE stages with longer combat time
PvP fights where Mimir can survive long enough to scale

Time Flying Wheel
Time Flying Wheel is Mimir’s Ultimate Skill.
She throws a wheel toward the farthest enemy Luminary. The wheel travels forward and then returns, damaging enemies it hits on both paths. This gives Mimir strong backline pressure and makes her dangerous against enemy formations that rely on fragile rear units.
When Mimir has both Morale and Fighting Spirit, she enters Grace state and fires an enhanced version of the wheel. During this state, Time Flying Wheel deals extra damage based on her current shield value.
This skill is one of the main reasons Mimir works well in teams that can provide buffs and frequent Ultimate rotations.
Best use:
Backline pressure
PvP formation damage
Multi-target fights
Ultimate cycle teams
Arcane Torrent
Arcane Torrent is Mimir’s Secret Skill.
It increases her Attack Speed and Critical Rate, which directly supports her main damage loop. More Attack Speed means faster basic attack hits, faster Shield of Wisdom stacking, and stronger follow-up skill damage.
The second part of the skill is also very important. Whenever an ally releases an Ultimate Skill, Mimir gains Awakening. When Awakening is active, she immediately consumes it to release Time Flying Wheel again.
This makes Mimir very strong in teams where allies can cast Ultimates frequently. The more often the team cycles Ultimates, the more chances Mimir has to trigger extra Time Flying Wheel attacks.
Double-Edged Wheel
Double-Edged Wheel improves Mimir’s basic attacks after she gains a Blessing Buff.
For a short duration, her basic attacks gain more hit counts, making her shield stacking much faster. This skill works extremely well with her Talent because more hits mean faster Shield of Wisdom generation.
This is also why Mimir benefits from teams that can help her gain Blessing Buffs consistently.
Turning Defense into Offense
Turning Defense into Offense is Mimir’s Divine Skill.
It increases the shield-based damage from Time Flying Wheel and Cyclone Slash. This skill perfectly matches her overall design because her shield is not just a defensive layer. It is also part of her damage engine.
Once this skill is active, Mimir’s shield value becomes even more important, making Attack Speed and shield stacking even more valuable.
Mimir can be used in both PvE and PvP, but her best teams are built around protecting her while giving her enough time to scale.

Mimir is a unique Archer in Dragon Traveler, relying on repeated hits, shield stacking, and attack speed rather than burst damage.
Her best build uses Night Owl Attack Speed gear, the Sharpshooter subclass, and teams that protect her and enable frequent skill use. She performs well in PvE, PvP, and Illusion teams as a strong backline carry.
If you like scaling damage dealers with strong late-game value, Mimir is worth investing in.
