Game Guides
Another limited hero Aube has arrived in Epic Seven, and the first time players saw her artwork, many probably couldn’t take their eyes off her. Aube brings a completely new control mechanic, strong opener potential, and some interesting team combinations that can make enemies regret pressing the battle button.
In this Aube build guide, we will go through her skills, best artifacts, recommended gear, best teams, and whether she deserves your precious bookmarks. If you are preparing for her release, this guide will help you understand how she works before jumping into the summon screen.
Aube is an Ice Ranger designed around opening turns, controlling enemies, and supporting high damage teams. She has a base Speed of 120, making her naturally suitable for a fast opener role. Her imprint options include Effectiveness for herself and Attack for the team.
Her biggest strength comes from her unique control ability. Aube can apply Immobilize and Restrict, preventing enemies from moving normally and stopping them from gaining Combat Readiness increases from Speed.
She also gains Concealment, allowing her to stay protected throughout the battle until she is defeated.
Aube works especially well in teams that want to take control early. Instead of letting enemies start their rotation, she can lock them down and create space for damage dealers to finish the fight.

Aube attacks an enemy with a 100% chance to inflict Fear for 1 turn.
When Aube has 3 or more Focus and the target is not affected by Say Cheese! (Unique Effect), she consumes 3 Focus to:
Fear is the main control effect of this skill, allowing Aube to disrupt enemy actions while applying additional pressure through Combat Readiness reduction.
The Focus requirement adds another layer to the skill, as Aube needs to build up enough Focus before activating the stronger version of the effect.

Aube gains 1 Soul and releases the moment engraved in the film, with a 70% chance to grant Cascade to all allies.
After using this skill, Aube gains:
This skill also provides defensive effects through Immunity and Stealth.
Immunity prevents Aube from being affected by debuffs or certain harmful effects.
Stealth prevents enemies from selecting Aube as an attack target when other allies are present. When Aube is hit by an attack that targets all allies, she gains damage reduction. Stealth is removed after she takes damage from an attack.

Aube’s ultimate skill fixes all enemies in a frame and dispels two buffs before attempting to apply her control effects.
It has a 70% chance to inflict:
Immobilize prevents enemies from receiving Combat Readiness increase effects provided by the Speed stat. This effect is dispelled at the start of someone’s fourth turn.
Aube also gains Concealment, which remains throughout the battle. When another ally is present, enemies cannot select Aube as a skill target.
By using Soul Burn and consuming 20 Souls, Aube can ignore Effect Resistance when applying her debuffs.
Skill Priority: S2 > S3 > S1
|
Skill 3: Eternal Moment |
Her strongest skill and the foundation of Aube’s control playstyle. Prioritize this skill first. |
|
Skill 2: Film Fiesta |
Provides extra utility through Cascade, Skill Nullifier, and an extra turn. |
|
Skill 1: Coral Swell |
Useful for additional Fear and Combat Readiness reduction, but less important than her main setup skills. |
Aube is mainly built as an opener, so Speed is the most important stat.
Since she does not have built in Combat Readiness push, reaching a high Speed value is important. A faster build allows her to move before enemies and apply her control effects.
Recommended stats:
Players who rely on Soul Burn may not need to focus heavily on Effectiveness because her important debuffs can ignore Effect Resistance.

Aube Limited Artifact

Intoxicating Indulgence is a powerful offensive artifact designed around Aube's aggressive control playstyle. Since Aube's Skill 2 is a non-attack skill, she can easily activate the artifact before using her extra turn to cast Skill 3.
The artifact provides Swift Attack and a Speed boost to the highest Attack ally, making it especially valuable for cleave teams. Instead of enhancing Aube herself, it mainly supports the team's main damage dealer by improving their turn order and offensive pressure.
At maximum enhancement, this artifact becomes extremely impactful and can significantly improve characters that rely on taking early turns after setup. However, because the effect prioritizes the ally with the highest Attack, proper team tuning is required to ensure the correct DPS receives the buffs.

Aube is a flexible PvP control Ranger who can fit into aggressive cleave and aggro compositions. Her main strength comes from applying Immobilize and Restrict through her Skill 3, preventing enemies from naturally advancing on the Combat Readiness bar. At the same time, her Skill 2 provides Cascade, Skill Nullifier, and an Extra Turn, while her Artifact supports the team's main damage dealer by granting Swift Attack and Speed to the ally with the highest Attack.
Because Aube does not provide her own Combat Readiness push, she is usually played either as a high-Speed opener or as a follow-up unit after another opener.

Best Team |

Aube + Moonlight Elvira Aggro Team |
One of Aube's strongest potential synergies is with Elvira. This combination focuses on aggressive control and constant pressure. Aube can apply multiple debuffs through her Skill 3, including Immobilize and Restrict, while Elvira benefits from having debuffs applied to enemies to activate her own mechanics. |

Other Team Composition |

|
Aube + Ludwig Cleave Setup |
Ludwig was mentioned as a possible partner for Aube's Artifact. Because the Artifact prioritizes the ally with the highest Attack, Aube can support high-Attack damage dealers rather than benefiting herself. Ludwig is an interesting option because he can take advantage of additional offensive support after Aube sets up the fight. |
|
Aube + New Moon Luna Opener Setup |
Aube can also work after another opener such as New Moon Luna. Instead of forcing Aube to win the first Speed contest, another fast unit can move first and create an advantage. Aube then follows with her control tools to prevent the enemy team from recovering. This setup gives aggressive teams another layer of control and allows Aube to function as a secondary opener. |
|
Aube + Salome Control Setup |
Another potential interaction mentioned in the previews is Aube paired with Salome. Because Salome can copy skills, she may help extend the pressure created by Aube's Immobilize effect. The idea is to maintain control over enemy turns by repeatedly applying powerful debuffs. |
|
Aube + Firmin Burst Setup |
Aube also has synergy with burst damage units that can take advantage of Cascade. Aube can provide Cascade through Skill 2, allowing damage dealers to benefit from additional fixed damage and improve their burst potential. This type of composition focuses on:

Aube is a limited PvP-focused hero who introduces a unique control mechanic to Epic Seven. Her ability to apply Immobilize and Restrict allows her to disrupt enemy turn cycles, making her a strong choice for aggressive cleave and aggro teams.
Her Skill 2 provides Cascade, Skill Nullifier, and an Extra Turn, while her Artifact supports the highest Attack ally with Swift Attack and Speed, increasing the team’s offensive pressure. With both control and offensive utility, Aube can fit into various aggressive compositions.
Her biggest strength is that she goes beyond traditional debuffs. By preventing enemies from gaining Combat Readiness increases from Speed, Aube can delay their actions and create opportunities for her damage dealers to take control of the battle.
In a brief, pull Aube if you:
· Play PvP regularly and enjoy cleave or aggro teams.
· Want a control-focused opener with powerful team disruption.
· Have fast gear and high-Speed units ready to support her.
· Have enough bookmarks saved for a limited hero.
· Want a hero with a unique mechanic that can change the pace of battles.
Aube is the type of hero that makes enemies wonder what happened before they even get a turn. Watching the opponent sit there while your team prepares the damage feels pretty satisfying. Of course, the real challenge is building enough Speed and hoping your gear does not decide to disappear into the equipment upgrade void.
