The centerpiece of Version 4.5 is the Naruto: Ninjas Assemble mode. The biggest change comes to Erangel, where the Severny area has been completely replaced by the Hidden Leaf Village (Konoha). This massive themed area serves as the collaboration’s centerpiece, featuring faithfully recreated landmarks:

Jutsu Skills & The Chakra System

The update introduces a Chakra energy system that powers all ninja abilities. Chakra depletes when using Ninjutsu or Ninja Run and gradually regenerates when not in use. Players can instantly refill Chakra with Ichiraku Ramen.

Ninja Run (Always Available)

Upon entering a themed match, players automatically unlock Ninja Run, which boosts movement speed and jump height while allowing players to run across water surfaces. Teammates can join and follow, making squad movement faster and more dynamic.

Ninjutsu abilities unlock in phases:

Chidori– A fast forward-striking dash attack

Flying Raijin Jutsu– Teleportation ability using a thrown kunai; can be combined with Rasengan for an upgraded attack

Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu– Ranged fire attack that deals explosive damage

Earth Style: Mud Wall– Defensive wall ability (enhanced Dog Head Version taught by Kakashi)

Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu– Creates clones that mimic the player’s appearance and actions, confusing enemies

Reanimation Jutsu (Edo Tensei)– A rare jutsu that can recall eliminated teammates without consuming a Recall Tower chance. Each player can only be revived once per match. This jutsu drops exclusively from the Nine-Tails boss.

Substitution Jutsu– A safety mechanic that automatically activates when health drops critically low, replacing the player with a wooden log and teleporting them to a nearby location

Voice-Activated Jutsu (Starting July 14)

From July 14, players inside theChunin Exam Finals Arenacan activate ninjutsu by shouting the technique’s name, using voice activation in supported languages. This makes PUBG Mobile one of the first major mobile battle royale games to let players activate combat abilities through spoken voice commands.

Tailed Beast Transformation

Defeating Kurama can unlockTailed Beast Mode, which provides massive buffs: increased health, movement speed, and Chakra recovery. This transformation can be a game-changer in squad fights and final-circle engagements.

Kurama – The Nine-Tails Boss Fight

One of the most exciting additions is the Nine-Tails (Kurama) boss encounter.(Starting July 9)

Kurama roams the map in one of three states:

• Slumbering– passive state
• Prowling– actively moving across the map
• Alert– aggressive and ready to fight

The battle unfolds in two phases:

• Phase 1– Players encounter Kurama at three locations. Defeating it drops loot and has a chance to unlock Tailed Beast Transformation.
• Phase 2– Kurama returns in an enhanced state. Defeating it drops airdrop-quality loot and the rare Reanimation Jutsu, with a guaranteed Tailed Beast Transformation unlock.

Village Defense Event (Starting July 17)

From July 17, players can trigger a special match where Kurama is under someone’s control and attacks the Hidden Leaf Village. In this mode, all squads must unite to defend the village together.
