Wuthering Waves: What to Expect at Gamescom 2023

Gamescom is right around the corner, and one of the exhibits that will showcase there is none other than Kuro Games’ Wuthering Waves. From August 23 to August 27, players can attend Wuthering Waves’ booth and try out the game, take pictures, and even claim special prizes. There will be plenty of events happening both online and in-person, as well as many prizes that fans of the game can win. It has also been revealed that special Content Creators such as Rexlent will also be there to support the game.

On official Wuthering Waves twitter accounts, announcements and guides to what can be found at Gamescom have been posted, as well as giveaways that anyone can participate in. There are many prizes in store that convention-goers can receive, such as badges, acrylic standees, and much more. One of the prizes even includes CBT Qualification, implying that the Wuthering Waves Closed Beta Test 2 is coming very soon.

It has only been 3 months since the first Beta Test, and Kuro Games has promised to make some major changes to the game. We can only hope that this second test will provide some much needed changes that players have been asking for.

Based on the feedback of the first test, players can expect to see big improvements in the story, characters, combat, and gacha. The combination of less bugs and more content in the CBT will be sure to make players much happier as development continues.

Aside from that, news about more of the playable characters in-game have started being released, starting with Sanhua. She got a special Resonator Showcase video on the Wuthering Waves official YouTube channel, with more information on her on Twitter.

As Gamescom approaches, fans can expect news about more of the characters to release, as well as news on more Beta Tests or even on a release date for the game.

From what has been revealed so far, players will be in for a surprise in these next couple of months. Pre-registration is available on Wuthering Waves’ official website, so make sure to register quickly for a chance at winning some special prizes at Gamescom.
