"Dost Kazığı" is a fascinating card game from Turkey, played by 2-4 players. In this game that requires strategy, the aim of the players is not to win but not to lose, making it a unique and enjoyable experience for groups.
Installation and Gameplay
Number of Players: 2-4
Deck: A standard 52-card deck is used.
Dealing: After the cards are shuffled, 4 cards are revealed on the table and four cards are dealt to each player.
Game Direction: The game progresses counterclockwise.
How to Play Friendly Scratch
Starting the Game: The player to the dealer's right starts, the others continue in counterclockwise order.
Discard Card: If you do not have any of the face-up cards on the table, discard a card to the next player.
Disposal and Deceit: Continue discarding cards on top of the card discarded by the previous player. The key point of the game? You can strategically choose the cards you don't want by placing them in front of any player whose score you want to increase.
Scoring System
Threes (3s): 30 points each.
Jacks (J's): 20 points each.
Queens (Q's), Kings (K's), Aces (A's): 10 points each.
Other Cards: Points at face value.
Winning the Game
The game ends when all cards are played. The player with the fewest points is at the least disadvantage, but remember in the Friendly Scratch, there are no winners, only less unlucky players!
