'Play Together', 2026 New Year’s Party Update

Global game company HAEGIN (CEO Youngil Lee) has announced a New Year’s Party update for its casual social network game Play Together in celebration of the upcoming 2026 New Year.

The 2026 New Year’s shipboard party will be held aboard the luxury cruise ship Frost Horizon, which appears off the coast of Kaia Beach. Hosted by NPCs Ty Coon and Bella Luxe, the celebration takes an unexpected turn when the snowy winter sea freezes over, putting the New Year’s party in jeopardy.

Players will help Ty Coon and Bella Luxe resolve various issues occurring throughout the cruise and investigate the cause behind the frozen sea. By completing stages of the Frozen Cruise Party mission, players can earn event currency called Cruise Coins, along with rewards such as Night Sea Floor, luxury cruise furniture, and five types of exterior house furniture items, depending on their progress.

Cruise Coins can be used in the Room Keycard Match minigame, where players can obtain rewards including the 2026 Floating Balloon (vehicle) and the New Year’s Party costume. The final reward is the Luxury Cruise House, which is expected to draw strong interest from players eager to own a magnificent cruise ship on the open sea.

In addition, a New Year’s countdown event will take place at Kaia Island Plaza at midnight on December 31, 2025, welcoming the start of 2026. The New Year countdown fireworks event will run daily at midnight for four days, through January 4. Players who simply log in during this period will receive daily gifts through the New Year’s Party Attendance Gift event, featuring items such as Snowflake Bait and a Champagne Toy, with different rewards available each day.
