Global game company HAEGIN (CEO Youngil Lee) announced a new update for its casual social network game Play Together, centered on the mysterious disappearance of Mr. Hotdog, a signature NPC who has long watched over Kaia Island’s Plaza.
Mr. Hotdog is a beloved character who has been with players since the early days of Play Together. His disappearance comes to light after his hotdog truck is found in disarray and his younger sister, Ms. Hotdog, reports him missing.
To solve the case, Sophia, a police officer assigned to missing persons cases, and Hugh Dunnit are dispatched to Kaia Island. Players join forces with the police to track Mr. Hotdog’s whereabouts, gather clues from island residents, and gradually uncover the truth behind the incident.
Throughout the investigation, players can complete a variety of missions to earn rewards such as card packs, event coins, and Minime costumes.
Additionally, while following the trail to a mysterious research lab, players may discover suspicious briefcases that grant special rewards, including police-themed costumes and the Police Bike (vehicle).
HAEGIN stated, “This update introduces a story-driven experience that delves into secrets and conspiracies surrounding one of Play Together’s most iconic NPCs, offering players a new level of immersion and fun,” adding, “We hope players enjoy this unique opportunity to take part directly in an investigative storyline.”
