‘Homerun Clash 2: Legends Derby’ Unveils New Batter "Merry Gold"

Game company HAEGIN (CEO Young-il Lee) has announced their latest update which introduces "Merry Gold," the next batter to be added to their mobile home run battle game "Homerun Clash 2: Legends Derby" (hereafter referred to as Homerun Clash 2).

"Merry Gold" is a stunningly beautiful female batter with blonde hair and has a Unique Ability called "Hollywood" which activates when the hit gauge is filled. The ability allows additional combos to accumulate while active, and "Merry Gold" is expected to be highly popular among players who are aiming for a high score because of this.

Additionally, new skills, the "Skin" system, and improvements to the in-game Shop and reward system will be included in the upcoming update.

The all-new "Mega Chance" skill gives players a chance to hit a Called Shot Home Run toward an unlit area to possibly earn even more points. Meanwhile, the newly added "Keep" skills improve on the existing "Defense" skills by also helping defend the player's score. For instance, the "Tennis Ball Keep" is more efficient defensively than the existing "Tennis Ball Defense" skill and can also reduce a portion of the additional damage inflicted by the opponent.

"Skins" allow players to change the costumes of batters and are in a different category from equipment. Players accumulate points when they purchase a Skin and obtain additional buff effects when a certain number of points has been reached after acquiring multiple Skins.
