"Homerun Clash 2: Legends Derby" Announces Major Christmas Update

Game company HAEGIN (CEO Young-il Lee) announced their major Christmas update for their mobile home run battle game "Homerun Clash 2: Legends Derby" (hereinafter referred to as "Homerun Clash 2").

First, the "Polar Stadium" is an all-new stadium themed after the chilly polar regions that allows entrance to only players with 1,600 or more Trophies. Debuff Skills such as Chaos, Ink, and Lightning Ball are set up to challenge players.

The newly added "Lightning Ball," which appears for the first time in the game in "Polar Stadium," travels rapidly in a zigzag motion from left to right. As a countermeasure to this new type of pitch, players may defend themselves by equipping "Lightning Ball Defense" or "Lightning Ball Keep" as their defensive skill.

Next, the update also introduces "Luca Leone," the fighter-turned-batter. The agile fighter has a Unique Ability called "Specialist," which is very befitting as it puts emphasis on hitting the ball. When the "Specialist" Unique Ability activates after the respective gauge has been charged, players earn additional points for the final score based on the rate of consecutive home runs hit.

Another new addition to the game is the SS Rank equipment, which will set the bar high equipment-wise, and eight new Christmas-themed equipment available for a limited time only. SS Rank equipment is designed to perform better than the existing S Rank equipment. With four new equipment sets being added, the total number of equipment sets available in the game will be raised to 16 as of the update.

Also, in anticipation of Christmas, the update introduces a Santa Claus-themed Skin for batter "Rikitaro" and a Santa Girl-themed Skin for batter "Lee A-Young," while the main lobby UI has been revamped for a more user-friendly experience.
