Delver of the Cryptic Event Overview
So, what exactly is this mode? Delver of the Cryptic is a permanent puzzle-focused challenge that dropped on February 24, 2026, and it’s not going anywhere. Think of it as the clever cousin of Etchspace Salvage—you’ll be exploring "spatial sets" filled with "Protocol Spaces," each with its own unique mechanics .

The best part? No combat. That’s right—you can leave your maxed-out Yvonne build at the door. This is all about environmental manipulation, timing, and sometimes just good old-fashioned platforming . You’ll unlock it pretty early too—just finish Main Story Chapter 1, Process II ("Paving the Way"), and you’re in .
The first spatial set,"Cryptic First Revealed,"drops with 9 stages ranging from "that’s clever" to "wait, what just happened?" And yes, every stage has bonus objectives(usually 3 hidden Storage Crates), so completionists, get ready.

Performance Improvements: Enhancing LDPlayer stability and responsiveness by significantly reducing CPU and memory consumption, allowing you to experience an unprecedented level of smoothness.

Stage-by-Stage Walkthrough
1. Pressure Sensitive
Objective: Use heavy objects and pressure switches to reach the exit.
Bonus: 3 Storage Crates.
This is the tutorial stage, so breathe easy. Start by moving the small crate into the gap ahead so you can cross .
Grab the larger crate, stick it on the elevator, and ride up. Place it on the first pressure plate to open a shutter. Now for Crate #1: reposition that tall crate near the metal box where the first storage crate is hiding. Use it as a step stool to hop up and grab it .
Crate #2 is in the next area. Move the tall crate into a narrow gap to reach a ledge. Grab it, then backtrack to the entrance area and use the crate to bridge a gap between ledges. Hit the terminal to lower some shutters, take the elevator up with the crate, and finally place it on the last pressure plate .
Crate #3 is waiting behind the final shutter. Grab it, then hit the anomaly to extract. Easy clear .

2. Crane Support
Objective: Operate machinery and reach the exit.
Bonus: 3 Storage Crates.
First things first—don’t run upstairs yet. Check under the stairs on the right. That’s Crate #1.
Now hit the terminal to raise the ramp and head up. Use the seesaw ramp to launch yourself higher and grab Crate #2.
In the twin-ramp room: lift Ramp 1, then rotate Ramp 2 twice. This creates a continuous slope to the upper-left area. Climb up, use another seesaw ramp to reach a terminal that opens some shutters.Crate #3 is right there—grab it before moving on .
Drop back down, deactivate the lasers, and rotate Ramp 1 twice (then lower it), rotate Ramp 2 twice (then lift it). This opens the path forward. The next area has moving platforms—use terminals to shuffle them right, then middle, and cross .

3. Ride the Wind
Objective: Use vortices to speed through the stage.
Bonus: Reach the exit in 300 seconds.
Pure speed run. No crates, just wind tunnels that boost your movement. Hit every vortex you see, chain your momentum, and you’ll easily clear the 5-minute window. Think of it as a roller coaster where you’re the cart .
4. Industrial Labyrinth
Objective: Find the correct path through a multi-layer maze.
Bonus: 3 Storage Crates.
This one’s a brain-bender. Start in the red-lit room—when the main door closes, take the right-side door that opens .
You’ll soon see the number 21323 on a wall. Memorize it. This is your key later .
Crate #1: You’ll see a chest down a hallway that closes as you approach. Side doors open—enter the right-side room closest to the crate. This loops you back, but now a new path opens on the right. Follow it to the first crate .

Next is a laser room with a UWST logo on the left wall. The correct path is marked by a differently colored logo frame. Time your moves carefully .
Then comes the platform memory game. Step on the wrong one? You restart. The safe sequence is: middle, middle, left, middle, middle, right, middle. Clear it for Crate #2.

Now the numbered doors. Follow 2 → 1 → 3 → 2 → 3.
Crate #3: In the hallway with portal doors, take the second-to-last left door. The portal teleports you above—grab the crate, then drop down. The second-to-last right door leads to the exit .
Final laser room: time your jumps, avoid the beams, and you’re out.
5. Heat Interception
Objective: Dodge lasers and reach the exit.
Bonus: Reach the exit in 300 seconds.
Another speed-focused stage, but this time with more lasers than a security system convention. Some beams are tricky to see depending on your camera angle—rotate that view. Near the end, you’ll need to hit four switches to disable a laser wall. Take your time; 5 minutes is plenty.
6. External Detonation
Objective: Use explosives to trigger switches and clear paths.
Bonus: 3 Storage Crates.
Explosives are your best friend here.Crate #1 is behind a platform you can reach by jumping after triggering the first bomb .
In the main room, you’ll need to detonate three explosives to align platforms. Pro tip: you don’t have to directly hit switches—aim for the back wall or ground near them; the blast radius will do the work .
Crate #2 is in a small side room on the right before the exit. Don’t leave without it .
7. Long-ear Invitation
Objective: Herd long-ears into their dens.
Bonus: 3 Storage Crates (but really, you’re herding 6 long-ears).
This stage is basically alien pet herding simulator. Follow the glowing golden footprints if you lose sight of them .
Use explosives to blow up fences and walls. When a long-ear disappears into a pipe, just run to the other end and wait—it’ll pop out .
Six long-ears, six dens. No crates here, but the satisfaction of being a space shepherd? Priceless.
8. Ode of Bombardment
Objective: Survive artillery fire and reach the exit.
Bonus: 3 Storage Crates.
This stage has an Aggeloi constantly firing at you.You can perfect-dodge the artillery, but fire walls? Those you just have to sprint through when clear .
Crate #1: After crossing the fallen pillar and dropping down, turn around. It’s right behind you .
At the fork in the path:turn right. Left is a dead end that’s annoying to backtrack from .
Crate #2 is along the main path.Crate #3 is near the end—keep your eyes peeled. And yes, your HP matters here, so don’t face-tank everything.

9. Beam Dodger
Objective: Navigate through intense laser fields.
Bonus: 3 Storage Crates.
Final stage, maximum lasers. Adjust your camera constantly—some beams are nearly invisible from certain angles .
Crate #1 is on a side platform early on.Crate #2 is on a left-side ledge after a drop.Crate #3 is in the corridor attached to the exit room—check before you leave.
Touching a laser respawns you at the last checkpoint, but there’s no stage failure, so keep trying until you nail it.
Wrapping Up
And that’s a wrap on Cryptic First Revealed! Nine stages, 1,800 Oroberyls, a shiny medal, and the satisfaction of outsmarting every puzzle Talos-II could throw at you .
Since this is a permanent mode, there’s no FOMO—take your time, enjoy the brain teasers, and farm those resources whenever you need a break from the grind .
