"Viking Rise" teams Up with "How to Train Your Dragon" for an Exciting Crossover Event

IGG's hit strategy game Viking Rise is thrilled to unveil a new collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences for a limited-time event inspired by Universal Pictures’ live-action reimagining of DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon, released earlier this year. How to Train Your Dragon has inspired generations of fans and the new live-action film has soared to massive box office success and earned widespread critical acclaim, reigniting a global dragon-training frenzy. The first Viking Rise x How to Train Your Dragon collaboration event will officially launch worldwide across both mobile and PC platforms on December 18.

Viking Rise is an online multiplayer, free-building, real-time strategy game that has earned widespread acclaim for its authentic Viking-inspired themes and engaging gameplay. How to Train Your Dragon introduced audiences to the unlikely friendship between a young Viking, Hiccup, and a fearsome Night Fury dragon,Toothless. Hiccup and Toothless join forces to change the long-standing conflict between humans and dragons, proving that understanding and friendship can create peace far better than brute force.

With Vikings at its core, How to Train Your Dragon shares a setting that beautifully complements Viking Rise. The fierce yet lovable dragons from the story are the long-awaited companions players have been asking for and will be an exciting collaboration for fans."

Exciting event

As part of the collaboration, Viking Rise will introduce a series of exclusive How to Train Your Dragon-themed atmospheric decor, including Profile Frames, Emotes, and Dragon Rally skins! Players can earn these special items by participating in the event. By consuming specific items, players can summon dragons of various types, rarities, and elements. Through the Commission System and Adventure gameplay, players will be able to collect event exchange tokens, which can be used to redeem the exclusive collaboration decor.

To celebrate the launch, Viking Rise has also launched a special promotional page (https://vr.igg.com/topic/httyd/) dedicated to the limited-time event. Alongside a comprehensive event overview to immerse players in the spirit of the collaboration, the page features two exciting additions: the exclusive Dragon Training Adventure mini-game and the Dragon Egg Hatching event, both offering players the chance to win a wealth of in-game rewards.
