Brawl Stars continues to introduce unique brawlers, and Najia is one of the more unusual ones. Although labeled as a damage dealer, she plays more like a long-range controller with tracking projectiles that pressure enemies from a distance. While her shots can follow targets, they don’t sharply curve, meaning skilled players can still dodge them.
This guide covers Najia’s abilities and best build options.

Najia Character Overview

Najia is best described as a long-range controller with pressure damage. Instead of bursting enemies instantly, she excels at forcing movement and disrupting positioning.
Her key strengths include:
- Tracking projectiles that pressure moving targets
- Very long attack range, allowing safe poke damage
- Area control potential, especially in open maps
However, she also has clear weaknesses:
- Her projectiles do not sharply curve, so skilled players can dodge them
- She relies heavily on good positioning
- She struggles against high-mobility assassins
Because of this, Najia performs best when played patiently and strategically, rather than aggressively diving into fights.

Najia Skill Breakdown
Attack : Ssssnake Delivery
Najia fires a jar that contains a paper snake. The jar pierces enemies, while snake deals three ticks of damage over time to enemies over 2 seconds. The damage effects stack, meaning you can attack the same target multiple times to increase its effect. While the jar is being used, the snake can be released individually. Najia has only one ammo slot, so kicking the ball in Brawl Ball doesn't consume any ammo.
Najia’s main attack has three different aiming methods:
- Auto-aim – automatically fires toward the nearest enemy.
- Hold aim – extends the attack to its maximum range.
- Quick flick – quickly flicking the aim shortens the range but makes the attack harder to predict.
Super : Damage Noodles
Najia lobs three jars of snakes at a long range that spawn paper snakes. The snakes chase the nearest enemies, like Tick's and Ash's Super, and once close enough, they dash into their target, poisoning on contact to damage enemies over 4 seconds to any enemies in their path. The snakes also lose 10% of their health every second until they're destroyed. Like her attacks, while the jars are being used, the snakes can be released individually.
Gadgets
- Poison Puddles

Activating this Gadget allows all enemies currently poisoned by Najia to leave poisonous puddles for 4 seconds, which can hit 4 times if the enemy remains standing on the area.
- Najia Jar

Activating this Gadget causes Najia to hide inside a vase, becoming completely immobile and unable to attack, but impervious to all damage for 5 seconds. After the vase is destroyed, all nearby enemies will be knocked back. This Gadget is similar to Charlie's Personal Space Gadget, but instead of self healing, Najia knocks back enemies.
Star Powers
- Poisonous Protector

Enemy Brawlers defeated by Najia's poison effects will spawn a snake in their place. These snakes have 50% less health than those from her Super, but deal the same amount of damage.
- Venomous

This Star Power increases the poison damage dealt to enemies, based of their current health.
Best Najia Build

|
Gadget |
Poison Puddles |
It causes enemies poisoned by Najia’s snakes to leave behind toxic puddles that last for 4 seconds. These puddles can damage or pressure opponents who step into them. The gadget has a 17-second cooldown. |
|
Star Power |
Poisonous Protector |
Enemy brawlers eliminated by Najia’s poison will spawn a snake for each defeated enemy, though these snakes appear with only half the health of regular ones. |
|
Gear 1 |
Gadget Cooldown |
Reduces Gadget Cooldown by 15%. |
|
Gear 2 |
Shield |
It grants a 900 HP shield that absorbs incoming damage. This shield begins to generate once the brawler’s health is fully restored and takes 10 seconds to fully charge. As an alternative, you can choose Najia Jar as the Gadget, which allows her to hide inside a vase, making her immobile but completely untargetable for a short time. For Star Power, Venomous is another strong option, as it increases the poison damage dealt to enemies based on their remaining HP. |
Tips for Playing Najia Effectively
1. Maintain Distance
Najia’s power comes from range. Always fight from safe positions.
2. Predict Movement
Even with tracking projectiles, aiming ahead of enemy movement increases hit consistency.
3. Control the Map
Use your abilities to force enemies into uncomfortable positions.
4. Be Patient
Najia wins fights through constant pressure, not instant burst damage.

When built and played correctly, Najia becomes a powerful map-control specialist capable of constantly pressuring enemies and shaping the battlefield.
Master her spacing, use your abilities strategically, and she can quickly become one of the most reliable ranged brawlers in Brawl Stars.
