The Winter Frost season has officially arrived in Heartopia, bringing players six weeks of rich content, including snow-covered landscapes, festive quests and a huge amount of limited-time content. From Frostspore fishing and winter-exclusive recipes to collectible Onsen Eggs and Snowman Frost Bubbles, this seasonal event is packed with rewards.
This Winter Frost Guide will walk you through everything you need to know, including how to start the event, where to find Frostspore creatures, how to unlock new recipes, and what activities are worth prioritizing during the Winter Festival.

Once you reach D.G. Member level 7, logging into the game during the Winter Frost season, you’ll be teleported to Onsen Mountain, where the Winter Festival begins. Before you can freely collect items, you’ll need to speak with several NPCs to unlock event mechanics.
Key NPC interactions include:
Eric: Provides your first fireworks.
Blanc: Discusses penguins and the weather.
Azure: Introduces the Fashion Wave Store and its exclusive tokens, also talks about climate change. (A detailed introduction to this part will follow below.)
Masimo: Your go-to for new recipes and blueprints.
Blancc: Gives the quest to plant White Radish Seeds.
Vana: Unlocks the special Frostspore Fish fishing activity.
The Fashion Wave Store is a major highlight of the Winter Frost season. By completing daily logins, weekly challenges and festival tasks, players earn Fashion Wave tokens and exhibition passes.
Rewards include:

Since the event runs for six weeks, it’s highly recommended to save your event currency for high-value limited items rather than spending impulsively early on.
After speaking with Vanya, you can begin collecting Frostspore Fish at the Old Sea.
Important tip: To catch Frostspore creatures, you must buy Bait and use Chum, not the Mermaid Attractor.
Confirmed Frostspore creatures include:
Using Bait consistently produces better results than combining it with other attractors.

Talking to Masimo unlocks several new winter-exclusive recipes and a blueprint for the Penguin Stove.
Initial Unlocks:
Advanced Dishes (After initial quests):

Tip: Purchase Frosting and Ingredients from Masimo's cooking store.
The seeds cost only 10 Gold per pack and mature in 15 minutes, making them the perfect crop to farm for cooking.
White Radish is the core winter crop, purchase more White Radish Seeds in the Gardening Store.
Because of its fast growth and heavy use in winter recipes, White Radish is the most efficient crop to farm during the Winter Frost season.

Throughout the Winter Frost map, you’ll find Snowman Frost Bubbles containing furniture, materials, and cosmetic rewards. Some bubbles require creative movement, parkour, or using your bike to reach higher locations.
Here are all the locations:
One of the most enjoyable Winter Frost activities is the Ice Skating Challenge.
How it works:
Successfully clicking poses builds combo multipliers. Continuously changing between different poses as they unlock is the fastest way to ramp up your score. You'll automatically unlock fancier moves like axels and spins as your points increase.
The goal is very achievable. Once finished, you'll unlock the Ice Skating Dream in your Dream tab for further goals and poses like the Sit Spin.

A total of 16 Onsen Eggs are hidden throughout Heartopia during the event, with one new egg becoming available each day. For more details, please see our other article How to Find Every Onsen Egg in Heartopia.

The Winter Frost season in Heartopia is one of the most content-rich updates so far, combining cozy activities with rewarding progression systems. Make sure to log in daily, manage your event currency wisely and fully explore the Winter Festival before it ends.
