Kingshot Bear Hunt Heroes Tier List 2026: Best Rally Leaders for Maximum Damage

Nipun Gimhan
|2026-07-20

In Kingshot’s Bear Hunt (also called Bear Trap), every hero choice, troop ratio, and rally leadership decision can make or break your contribution. For a rising F2P player as well as for a whale chasing leaderboard glory, it is a must to learn which hero brings the maximum performance to the table. So, this Kingshot Bear Hunt Heroes Tier List breaks down exactly which rally leaders deliver maximum damage generation by generation as well. So you can lead unstoppable rallies and skyrocket your alliance's output.

Understanding Bear Hunt Mechanics: Why Rally Leaders Matter Most

Kingshot Bear Hunt stands apart as an asymmetric, offense-only event where the bear doesn't fight back meaningfully. Success boils down to maximizing damage across 10 battle turns through high Lethality, Attack buffs, Archer-heavy formations, and synergistic hero skills.

Key distinctions in rally roles are:

  • Rally Leaders (Hosts): Contribute full stats, gear, research buffs, and all three hero skills. They set the damage ceiling for the entire group.
  • Joiners: Only their lead hero’s first Expedition skill matters (top ~4 skills per rally apply). Wrong picks dilute the rally.

You have to prioritize flat Lethality and Attack buffs over chance-based or defensive skills. Archer stats shine brightest since formations skew heavily toward them in mid-to-late game. Widgets (especially offensive ones) provide lasting value across generations.

Kingshot Bear Hunt Heroes Tier List 2026: Best Rally Leaders by Generation

This Kingshot tier list for Bear Hunt focuses on rally leadership potential for maximum Bear Hunt damage, factoring in skills that boost non-infantry troops (especially Archers), offensive widgets, stats, and real combat math. Please note that the S+ heroes carry rallies across servers while lower tiers suit early-game or F2P alternatives.

Generation 1: Foundation Rallies (Early Server Meta)

S Tier: Amadeus (Infantry)

Amadeus (Infantry).png

Amadeus is the undisputed king of Generation 1. He brings three offensive abilities along with a powerful offensive widget that provides broad Lethality and damage buffs. His skills work especially well with non Infantry troops, making him a perfect choice for Archer heavy compositions. He also remains relevant well into Generation 7 servers.

Build Priority: Max out his widget first, then focus on his star levels and exclusive gear to increase his offensive stats.

Tip: Save Amadeus for hosting your strongest rallies instead of using him only as a joiner.

A Tier: Helga (Infantry), Jabel (Cavalry), Saul (Archer)

  • Helga: Helga has a strong offensive widget and two offensive abilities. She offers excellent consistency with a strong focus on Lethality, making her a great long term investment for F2P players.

Helga .png

  • Jabel: Jabel has high Cavalry stats and two offensive abilities. He is a solid early game tank with decent rally contribution.

Jabel.png

  • Saul: Saul has the highest Archer stats in Generation 1. His growth skill is helpful, but he relies more on raw stats than on his abilities.

B and C Tier: Quinn, Howard, and Most Other Heroes

These heroes have only one or no useful offensive ability. You can use them as temporary fillers, but it is best to replace them as soon as stronger heroes become available. Heroes like Yeonwoo, Amane, and Chenko are better saved for joiner roles.

Recommended Formation: 30% Infantry, 30% Cavalry, and 40% Archers. This provides a balanced setup while you continue building your Archer troops.

Generation 2: Rising Power

S Tier: Amadeus and Marlin (Archer)

Amadeus (Infantry).pngMarlin .png

Amadeus continues to dominate, while Marlin is the standout addition in this generation. He has an offensive widget and two offensive abilities that benefit the entire rally. His much higher Archer stats make him a major upgrade over Saul. Pairing him with Amadeus gives you excellent synergy.

A Tier: Hilde (Cavalry) and Helga

Hilde (Cavalry).pngHelga .png

Hilde offers a split Attack and Defense first skill that provides roughly 1.5 offensive value along with strong Cavalry stats. She is a reliable choice, although she is not as explosive as Marlin.

B Tier: Zoe (Infantry)

Zoe .png

Zoe looks like a fantastic F2P hero with three offensive abilities on paper. However, her first skill, Sundering Wounds, has very limited or no value in Bear Hunt because of hidden mechanics. This leaves her with only two strong offensive abilities in practice, placing her below Helga and Amadeus. She is still an excellent choice for march capacity and overall progression.

Recommended Formation: 20% Infantry, 30% Cavalry, and 50% Archers as you begin shifting toward Archer focused formations.

Generation 3: Cavalry and Archer Surge

S Tier: Petra (Cavalry), Amadeus, and Helga

Petra .pngAmadeus (Infantry).pngHelga .png

Petra is a game changing hero and is often considered a developer gift because she is available through Roulette. She is the first Cavalry hero with a strong offensive widget and brings two out of three offensive skills. She also has one of the highest effective damage multipliers in the game at around 43.75%, which is slightly reduced in Bear Hunt but still remains among the best. Her unique skill code also has strong multiplicative potential when combined with other buffs. If her skill activates, she has very high burst damage potential.

A Tier: Marlin and Hilde

You can continue using both heroes while transitioning to newer options.

Recommended Formation: 10% Infantry, 20% Cavalry, and 70% Archers.

Generation 4 and Beyond: Late Game Dominance (Generation 5 to 7 Heroes)

S Tier: Petra, Rosa (Archer), Vivian (Generation 5 Archer), Yang (Generation 6 Archer), and top Generation 6 and 7 heroes like Sophia and Triton

  • Rosa: Rosa is an Archer hero with an offensive widget and two strong offensive abilities, including one Archer specific ability with about 30% effective value. She also offers a massive stat advantage with excellent Archer synergy.

  • Vivian and Yang: These later generation Archer heroes dominate thanks to their higher base stats and powerful multipliers. They continue pushing the shift toward extreme Archer focused formations.

  • Thrud: Thrud provides strong support through targeted Attack buffs.

Enduring Strong Leaders

Amadeus continues to perform exceptionally well alongside Petra, Marlin during the early to mid game, Vivian, Yang, Ava, and Sophia.

Recommended Formation: Use 1% to 10% Infantry, 10% Cavalry, and 80% to 89% Archers to maximize Archer Lethality and damage output. You can also test small adjustments of around 5% in the preview or simulator based on your own Lethality stats.

Caveat: Always prioritize your strongest account (highest stats/gear) as host. Weaker players should join instead.

Best Rally Joiner Heroes for Maximum Damage Contribution

As a rally joiner, place the hero with your strongest first Expedition skill in the captain position. Focus on heroes that provide a flat 25% Lethality bonus from Group A or Attack buffs. Chance based skills, such as those from Marlin, Petra, and Zoe, do not stack well, so it is best to limit them to one hero per rally.

  • S+ Tier Joiners: Chenko, Amadeus, and Yeonwoo provide flat Lethality bonuses. Amane and Margot offer Attack buffs, while Vivian, Wee and Woo, and Ava provide strong damage amplification.
  • A Tier Joiners: Hilde is a reliable choice thanks to her consistent Attack buff.

Heroes to Avoid as Captain

Avoid using purely defensive heroes like Jabel as your captain, as they reduce your rally's overall damage contribution.

Blue Hero Bonus Note Using Blue Rare heroes in secondary marches has a chance to score multipliers. However, for your main rally, you should always prioritize heroes with strong damage focused skills.

Optimal Troop Formations, Gear & Advanced Tips for Bear Hunt Success

  • Archer Priority: Scale to 80%+ Archers as you progress. Test ratios (±5%) based on your Lethality stats.
  • Gear & Stats: Governor Goggles/Boots for Lethality first. Academy research, widgets, and pets matter hugely.
  • Staggered Rallies: Coordinate waves (0:00, 0:45, 1:15) with troop caps for more cycles.
  • Alliance Coordination: Strong hosts only. Enforce joiner rules. Use presets.
  • F2P Focus: Invest in Amadeus/Chenko/Zoe/Petra early. Shard wisely because heroes are irreversible investments.

People Also Ask

Who is the best F2P rally leader for Bear Hunt in 2026?

Zoe or Helga early on, transitioning to Petra/Rosa as available. Prioritize leveling offensive widgets and Archer troops. Chenko excels as a joiner for consistent lethality without heavy investment.

How do troop ratios change for Bear Hunt joiners vs. hosts?

Hosts use full optimized ratios (Archer-heavy). Joiners follow alliance caps (e.g., 80-100k troops) with the same bias but focus on the captain skill over personal power.

Does hero rarity (blue heroes) matter more than skills in Bear Hunt?

Skills in the captain slot trump rarity for damage. Blue heroes help with score multipliers in secondary marches, but for primary rallies, Lethality/Attack heroes deliver superior results.
