Merge Dragons Beginner's Guide for Getting Started

'Merge Dragons' is a puzzle adventure game, which follows missions or quests. Each quest is unique, and you need to solve puzzles to pass the level. The game opens with a tutorial where a dragon is revealed 'EZRA' on your first quest, 'Ezra's Grave.' The game follows a storyline where the Dragons are on the verge of becoming extinct, and you have a responsibility to solve puzzles and save the dragons from 'Zomblins'.

The world of Merge Dragons has over 600 puzzles and 500+ artifacts, which will help you level up your characters and earn gold coins to purchase dragon eggs and other magical artifacts from the store. And to help you purchase any item from the store, another character comes from a far land to help you on the magical journey.

Merging items or artifacts is easy; all you need is to find three similar items, and they can be merged into a new and strong item: Dragon eggs, trees, dragons, stars, and treasures. There is always a 'STAR' icon in every quest, which tells the player what they need to unlock to complete the mission. Sometimes, the artifact needs to be unlocked by evolving a certain artifact, whereas, sometimes, the artifact is available but needs to be unlocked by powering up the land.

Game Modes

There is a 'Mission-To-Mission' quests mode and one 'Challenge Mode.' In the 'Mission-To-Mission' mode, the quest includes basic puzzles to merge artifacts to unlock a certain artifact. After every mission, the story introduces new artifacts, characters, and level difficulties. The other mode is 'Challenge Mode'; in this mode, you need to unlock a particular artifact, under certain limited time period.

Characters

Ezra

Ezra is supposed to be the first dragon that you unlock. Ironically, Ezra is supposed to be the last dragon to exist as all the other dragons are either gone or turned to stone by the Zomblins. You are supposed to meet Ezra in your first quest, called Ezra's Grave, where he says that 'My soul is trapped inside the stone statues. Merge them to unlock me'.

Zomblins

Zomblins are evil creatures; they wander around the map much like dragons. In the initial quests, you will discover that they have destroyed the lands, and the artifacts available on that land cannot be unlocked to merge it.

Kala

Kala, the treasure hunter, an NPC (Non-Playable Character) who can often be seen riding a ship.

Evil Fog

Evil Fog is an evil entity that has covered the whole 'Camp' region of the 'Merge Dragon' realm. It can only be cleared by merging magical artifacts, i.e., plants, eggs, bones, stars, and hearts. The Camp is supposed to be the main area, found on the game's home page, where you merge, discover new artifacts, and earn enough dragon power to clear the evil fog. 

As the evil fog uncovers itself, more land is discovered covered with old and new locked objects, waiting to be unlocked. This Camp section of the game can only be played after completing the quest called 'Grassy 2'. Statistically, the land consists of 486 squares of land covered with evil fog.

Life Flower Sprout

Life Flower Sprout is a type of plant which can be merged to create a 'Life Flower.' A life flower is a live ball that can be unlocked by being harvested by dragons. These life balls can be used to unlock other objects and characters or can be used to merge with the other two balls and then can be used to unlock the same on a larger scale. These plants can be evolved by getting merged.

The basic form of these plants is called 'Life Flower Sprout,' which is supposed to be a level 1 category plant. It is often seen as a green plant with light yellow turned pink petals in a closed state. The level 2 category plant is called 'Life Flower.' After achieving its level 2 state, it can now produce life balls harvested by dragons. It is often seen as an open green flower with its bright pink large petal in an open state. 

The 3rd category of this plant is called 'Blue Life Flower' because after getting merged for the 3rd time, its pink petals turn blue, and they are seen as three flowers carrying life balls in them waiting to be harvested by the dragons. There are supposed to be two other levels of these pants but to unlock them; you need to download 'Merge Dragons' and discover its other levels by yourself.

Rewards

The player receives rewards for showing their love and interest in the game and showing up daily to spend their time with it. This is why the game rewards its users by giving away gifts every day in return. These can be daily challenges that the gamer needs to accomplish to win a grand prize or receive gifts just by showing up daily, and with each day, the prize keeps on getting bigger and better. These daily rewards are often showcased as a rewards table consisting of Day 1-7, and with each day, there is a picture attached to it indicating the prize which the user will receive if he keeps showing up to play the game.

Chest

Chests are another treasure with many shapes and sizes; they are often presented as a grand prize for showing up daily to play the game till Day 7. Or they can be earned by playing the and winning the quests. Every chest is different; some are found locked under the evil fog in the Camp, some can be won by winning the challenge, while some can be won as one of the daily rewards.
