Nanally is an S-Rank Anima (Plasma) damage dealer in Neverness to Everness (NTE) and is featured as the first limited banner character when the game launches on April 29, 2026. As an Anima-type hybrid DPS, she stands out by combining high burst damage with consistent off-field follow-up attacks, a rare mechanic among launch units.
What makes Nanally especially powerful is her ability to deal damage even when she’s not the active character, while also bringing unique anti-gravity mobility that allows her to fight from walls and ceilings. This guide covers everything you need to know about her skills, best build priorities, and optimal team compositions.

Nanally’s kit allows her to fit into a wide variety of teams, making her one of the most flexible DPS options at launch.
Her basic attacks feature a flexible 5-hit combo that dodging won't interrupt. Her charged "Heavy Hitter!" and plunging "Grand Entrance!" (which scales up to 200% damage with fall height) provide additional burst options. She also has a critical riposte roundhouse kick that reduces enemy Break, plus a ranged aimed attack for single-target precision.
Deals 5 instances of AoE Anima DMG and enters the Ichi-daime's Authority state for 12 seconds, which ends early if she leaves the battlefield or recasts the skill. While in this state, she gains enhanced combat capabilities and can walk on walls and ceilings.
Nanally deals 7 instances of AoE Anima DMG to surrounding enemies and summons Underboss to fight alongside her. While Underboss is active, Nanally's attacks pull in nearby enemies, and Underboss coordinates with all of her attacks to deal bonus Anima DMG that counts as follow-up attack damage.
Charge with a spinning motion, kicking and dealing 1 point of Anima damage to targets within a certain range.
Blossom Enhancement: Unleashes 10 Lebenblumes from the Lebenstamm at a 1-second firing interval.
While in Ichi-daime's Authority, Nanally triggers a follow-up attack dealing 60% ATK as Anima DMG whenever any teammate deals Esper Cycle DMG to an enemy, but no more than once every 2 seconds.

Nanally’s defining feature is her automatic follow-up attack system.
This mechanic allows her to function as both a primary damage dealer and a passive DPS contributor, significantly increasing total team damage over time.
Nanally also excels at short burst windows through her combo-based attacks:
When timed correctly, her burst and passive damage overlap, creating strong DPS spikes.
One of Nanally’s most unique traits is her ability to move on vertical surfaces:
This mobility not only improves survivability but also opens up advanced positioning strategies for skilled players.
Fireflies and the Forest: S Rank Module

4-Piece Bonus: Increases wearer's CRIT DMG by 8% when a nearby enemy takes Anima DMG from the Team, up to 7 stacks. Each stack lasts 10s. Effect remains active when the character is off-field.

Increases ATK. Casting her skill or Ultimate temporarily boosts Basic Attack and Critical Riposte damage, stacking twice. Skill and Ultimate grant different talismans; obtaining both within a short window unlocks a temporary boss damage buff.

Each Basic Attack temporarily increases the wearer's Basic Attack damage, stacking multiple times. Each stack has its own independent duration.

This team focuses on high attack frequency and passive damage output. Zero applies Cosmos, which reacts with Nanally's Anima to create Blossom—an autonomous attacking entity. Jiuyuan provides crowd control and additional reaction depth through Incantation (Hex).
Damage scales with hit count rather than burst windows, making this setup excellent for clearing mobs and farming—thanks to the fastest AoE clear speed at launch and high reaction uptime—but weaker against single targets and bosses due to lower burst damage.
A fourth slot is flexible, though basic positioning awareness is still required.
Prioritize upgrading her core skill to extend the duration of Ichi-daime's Authority and increase its damage multipliers.
Prioritize Weapons that provide CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, or ATK%. For Arcs, prioritize Ready-Ready (which synergizes with her skill mechanics) or the free-to-obtain Oraora!.
As the top choice for early-game content, Nanally can handle most combat scenarios. Use her wall-walking ability in the overworld to explore hidden areas and rely on her high CRIT DMG to quickly clear mobs in combat.
Nanally brings a fresh approach to DPS design in Neverness to Everness, blending mobility, burst damage and passive pressure into one cohesive kit. Her ability to deal damage both on and off the field makes her one of the most efficient and flexible characters available.
Whether you're building a fast-rotation team or a burst-focused lineup, Nanally has the tools to perform at a high level—and potentially define the early game meta.
