Red Ball Super Run Review - Excellent running game with 3D graphics

FDH Entertainment GmbH and Yohoho Games have officially released the latest game in the Red Ball Series – Red Ball Super Run. Unlike previous games of the series, Red Ball Super Run features 3D graphics. In this endless running game, you run, jump, roll, and dodge and fight the square minions creating chaos throughout the city. Also, collect coins, stickers, and boosters to advance to the new location as the game has four new locations. Currently, you can choose from 4 playable balls (once you unlock the other three), but there will be more to choose from in future updates. The game also features epic boss battles.

You can find the Red Ball Super Run on both Android and iOS platforms for free. Red Ball 4, the series's previous game, has more than 250 million downloads. In this article, I will be sharing my experience with the Red Ball Super Run. 

Game Features

A Short Tutorial will help you understand the game mechanics in the beginning when you start the game. It's mandatory to go through with the tutorial. Upon completion, you will earn rewards like coins, Crystals, or stickers that you have to paste in the comic strip to level up and move to the new city. But for that, you need to fill the comic strips with stickers completely. After the tutorial end, you can begin with your new game.

Gameplay

This is an endless running game where you have to Run, Jump, roll, and Dodge to avoid bumping into objects as well as Square Minions. To defeat the minions, you have to jump on them. Passing through the streets, you can collect coins. Apart from coins, you get Multiplier, Crystals, and other kinds of stuff that will help you level up. You will get missions to complete for which you will be rewarded. So, complete as many missions as you can. Once you get caught, you can either restart from where you left by using crystals or watching the Ad, or you can start a new game.

The game features four playable runner balls (as of now). Each ball has its characteristics. You can unlock all the characters to choose from. You begin with the default Red Ball. Other Balls are – Foxy, who can neutralize nearby enemies if you swipe sideways, Greeny can shoot nearby Enemies if you swipe sideways, and  Blue can knock out all the enemies if you swipe down.

Red Ball Super Run offers three boosters that need to be selected before using them while playing. Apart from them, you also get a 2x multiplier whenever you defeat a minion.

For Completing missions, you will be rewarded with coins, Crystals, Stickers, or Packs which contain a combination of these. There is a chance that you might get a character costume too from these packs. Stickers are required to complete location-wise Comic strips and Unlock characters. When you complete a comic, you move to the new location, so the faster you complete them, the better.

If you click on the cart icon on the top-right corner of the main game screen, you will find coins, crystals, and boosters that can be purchased. With coins, you can purchase Boosters; Crystals can be exchanged for coins. But to purchase crystals, you must pay for real, not game coins.

The Good

What I Liked about the Red Ball Super Run is the 3D graphics and design. The Gameplay is also good; the rules are simple too. The characters are all awesome, given the requirements of the game. Ads are minimal; the game doesn't force Ads to appear out of nowhere. The game features epic boss battles, which are awesome. As far as the Gameplay and design are concerned, the makers have done well. It is yet to be seen what the new update will bring in the future.

The Bad

Some parts of the game lags might be due to using high graphics Quality used during the game, although it can be reduced. More boosters would help a lot while playing. Currently, we get only 3 Boosters. The number of crystals required to unlock characters or revive is too high. Five crystals for revival compared with what we get after each game can be considered high. 

Conclusion

Talking about the performance of the game, it performed well. Overall this is a must-try game for new design and features. It is fun and captivating. For me, it has been a good experience till now. It will be interesting to see what we get in future updates, but for the time being, you should try this game once.
