Smile Rush Gameplay Insights and Review

The latest action runner game from FirebyteGames – Smile Rush, is now available on Android and iOS platforms. You can download the game from Play Store or App Store for free. But is the game worth your time? In this article, I will be reviewing the Smile Rush game, and let me tell you, I have been playing this game for a while now. We will be looking at the Gameplay, Design, Music, and other game features.

Smile Rush is about Running and Collecting teeth to give them to toothless people and make them happy with the full set of Shiny teeth. Standing in your way will be the dental tools and other obstacles such as Candies to degrade your teeth. You have to clean them on the way and take them to the toothless.

Smile Rush also rewards you with game money when you complete your task of collecting teeth and crossing the finishing line. The amount of reward depends upon the number of teeth collected along the way and the quality of teeth. We will discuss this in detail in the following section of gameplay. To level up, you have to collect more and more points, and the game has more than 150 Levels.

About the Gameplay

The gameplay of Smile Rush is easy, and sometimes lack of options makes it dull. I have been playing this game for a while now, and the point system is still unclear. Yes, you will get more points for golden teeth than other teeth like Silver, White or Yellow. But what amount of reward account for it is not very much clear. The gameplay is not all that engaging. Over time, it becomes all predictable. Even after reaching 140+ levels, the game is still the same. No change from what it was at the 10th level. The difficulty remains the same with each level, which makes it Tedious. 

Let me also admit that the game is not all that bad. But the lack of details makes you wonder about your progress with the game. For instance, there is no telling about your highest score. Each time you reach five toothless people, Smile Rush will display Highest Score, even though you might get more game money by reaching four toothless people.

Design, Music, and Structure of Smile Rush

Simple design with 3-4 different obstacles combination, with the almost same difficulty level. The developers could add some more combinations and new obstacles to the game. Background music is okay, not too distracting. By the time you reach the 20th level, you will unlock all the skins, and for the rest of the game, nothing new happens except the option to increase Teeth Level and Income Level. 

What did I like about the Smile Rush?

I enjoyed the game at first. Reaching different levels and unlocking Teeth Skins was fun. New levels are reached easily; it takes time to understand the game. At first, I liked the design and music, but when you reach 140+ levels playing on the same difficulty level, it all becomes tiresome. 

Teeth Skins are good too. Let you collect different types of teeth. This brings some change in the game’s design but not in gameplay. Teeth Level and Income level are another fun part of the game. This is where you have to spend all your collected in-game money. When you increase Teeth level, you add more teeth to your collection from the beginning. Income level helps you get more rewards.

What didn’t I like in the Smile Rush?

Smile Rush has so many levels with no new features or rewards. The only reward you will have is in-game money which you can use to collect more in-game money. 

To unlock More teeth skins, you will have to level up and use them; you have to watch ads. But you can’t use that game money for it. By the time you reach the 20th level, you will unlock all the Teeth Skins; the developers should add more teeth skins and other stuff to unlock. There is no option to check your highest score. 

To increase Income or Teeth level, you have to use game money or watch ads that reduce the fun. The Teeth level will let you use eight additional teeth to begin with. Once you increase the level after reaching eight teeth, the quality of teeth upgrades and finally reaches all eight golden teeth. But that is not much help if you have to play with the same difficulty and environment design every time. What’s the purpose of collecting more game money, then? All these issues need to be addressed.

Conclusion

I would like the rate this game 6 out of 10. It has nothing new to offer. After playing for more than 150 levels, I can assure you this game does not worth your time. You can try it but expect nothing new from this game if you want. You will continue to level up without encountering anything new and fun. 

The developers could add new difficulty levels, more obstacles and cleaners, more rewards, and more skins. But the way it is now, if you want to play the game, I would suggest not to go beyond the 25th level. There is nothing new to discover. This is all from my experience of the game.
