Welcome to Stache, the classic card game!Based on the well-known genre classics Thirty-One, Knack, Schwimmen, Schnauz, 31, Schnüz, etc.
The goal of the game is to form winning combinations of cards. There are two ways to form winning combinations:
- Collect cards of the same suit to score as much points as possible up to a max of 31 points (called a "Stache").
- Or gather three cards of the same rank from different suits to score 30½ points.
Aim for the highest score to win!
Interactive Gameplay:
On their turn, a player can either:
- SWAP one card or all three cards in their hand with those in the middle (but not two cards).
- SKIP their turn without exchanging.
- Close the game by KNOCKING on the table.
If all players skip their turn in a row, the three cards in the middle are replaced with new cards from the deck.
Round End
A round can end in two ways:
- If a player knocks, all other players get one last chance to swap or skip, and then the round ends.
- If a player holds 31 points (a “Stache”), the round ends immediately. If that happens, all other players lose a life.
Otherwise, the player(s) with the lowest point total at the end of the round lose a life.
Game Features:
- Each player starts with 3 LIVES.
- If a player loses all three lives, they continue playing but are now “Swimming”.
- If they lose again while swimming, they sink and are eliminated from the game. However, if they survive the round while swimming, they regain a life and stop swimming.
The game follows an elimination format, with players being knocked out one by one until only one player remains - the overall winner.
