Ultimate Dragon Traveler Characters Tier List
This list evaluates characters based on their damage output, survivability, support capabilities, and versatility, categorizing the main characters of the current launch version into the following tiers. Resources are limited, so prioritize investing in T0 characters!

T0
These characters are the absolute mainstays of the current version, performing exceptionally in almost any team. Must-build if obtained.
An all-around top-tier tank. She combines AoE Taunt, a strong Shield, a Life Link (protecting near-death allies), and counter-attack damage with lifesteal. She not only holds the frontline steadily but also provides immense protection and control for the team. Her acquisition method is also relatively accessible.
Ares (Mythic - Warrior)
Ares dominates the battlefield with her powerful self-healing abilities and true damage mechanic. Through life steal and damage conversion, Ares is virtually immortal, and her ultimate ability ignores all enemy defenses. Whether in PvE boss battles or PvP, she performs exceptionally well, even capable of wearing down and defeating the tankiest opponents.
Hades (Mythic - Assassin)
The ultimate single-target burst king. His Ultimate boasts a massive 740% damage multiplier. Defeating enemies refreshes its cooldown and restores Energy, making him unparalleled in PvP and high-difficulty boss fights. His clone mechanism also draws fire, enhancing overall survivability.
Apollo is a single-target damage specialist whose damage mechanic scales with the enemy's maximum HP. Her core strength lies in dealing damage based on the enemy's maximum health; her basic skill set applies a debuff with each basic attack. This debuff reduces the target's critical strike resistance and triggers other damage scaling mechanics, ultimately creating a cyclical damage output.
Poseidon (Mythic - Mage)
The absolute core of Elemental teams and control strategies. His opening full-screen knockback disrupts enemy formations. The "Chill" effect attached to his skills is key to triggering Elemental Reactions. His two instances of damage immunity ensure his lasting presence on the battlefield.
T0.5
These characters are either core to specific team archetypes or can perform at a T0 level once invested in.
Ifrit (Archer)
One of the strongest AoE (Area of Effect) damage dealers. Her Ultimate unleashes a volley of projectiles, making her extremely efficient at clearing stages. She fits perfectly into Elemental and Arcane teams focused on area damage, and is a crucial asset for story progression and Guild Battles.
Scheherazade (Priest)
The premier healer in the game. She provides ample healing and, at higher stars, can cast skills consecutively, while also providing valuable buffs for the team. She is essential for prolonged battles.
The optimal Assassin choice for Elemental teams. Obtainable via the First Purchase, she is easy to upgrade. She possesses excellent Crit Rate, self-sustain, and can apply the "Shock" status, making her one of the most user-friendly Assassins for the early game.
Gabriele (Mage)
Gabriele excels at burst damage and execute mechanics, making her a deadly finisher in both PvE and PvP. She is particularly adept at eliminating low-health enemies with devastating execute damage, which scales with the enemy's missing health. Gabriele performs exceptionally well in burst-damage teams, delivering the final blow after her teammates have weakened the target.
Atanith (Priest)
Atanith is an excellent strategic support who perfectly combines offensive pressure with powerful crowd control. She can disrupt the enemy's skill rotation, while providing the entire team with additional life steal and auxiliary healing to ensure that teammates can continue fighting.
Huginn & Muninn (Archer)
Boasts an extremely high Crit Rate and unique bouncing Basic Attacks, giving her formidable multi-target damage. While she loses HP, her powerful Lifesteal capability adequately compensates.
Azure Dragon (Warrior)
Azure Dragon can transform shielding into offensive and defensive power, is particularly effective at mitigating burst damage by applying team-wide shields at the start of battle while her overdrive provides crucial interrupt potential with knockup.
Marylis (Warrior)
The "Low-HP Goddess." When her HP is critical, activating her Ultimate can instantly restore her to full health while dealing explosive damage. Her weakness is a vulnerability to "Heal Block" effects, requiring teammate support.
Vivian excels at single-target protection and team sustain. As an SSR+ support hero, she is particularly suited to team compositions focused on enhancing the main damage dealer. Her signature skill, "Possession," is the core of her gameplay, rendering her untargetable while significantly boosting the survivability and attack power of her teammates.
T1
These characters are excellent pieces for building teams and are very reliable in the early and mid-game. However, they usually have limitations, either because of their skill set or because they are "only" effective in specific faction teams/situations.
T2 & T3
Some have unique features, but most of them have limited uses.
