Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel! If you've been following my Dragon Traveler content, you know I've been hyping up certain EX units for a while now. But today? Today we're talking about my absolute favorite support in the entire game—Venus, the Goddess of Love herself.
Whether you're running a Wild team, an Elemental Reaction comp, or even a cross-faction hybrid, Venus brings tools that no other unit currently offers. In this guide, we're going to break down everything you need to know about building Venus—her skills, best team comps, equipment choices, and positioning tips. Let's dive in!

Who Is Venus?

Venus is based on the Roman goddess of love and beauty—and just like the classical paintings you've seen, she rocks that signature golden hair and stunning presence. Dragon Traveler's version might not be wearing sheer fabrics like the old masters painted, but uh... let's just say they did justice to the "beauty" part of her title.
She's a Priest by class, belonging to both the Wild and Elemental Resonance factions, which immediately tells you she's built for flexibility.
Venus Skills Breakdown
Let's get into the meat of why Venus is a game-changer. Her kit is absolutely stacked with healing, debuffs, and one of the rarest mechanics in the game: Charm.
Talent: Divine Melody
- When Venus casts a healing effect, she applies Divine Melody to the target(s)
- This grants immunity to heal reduction/block effects
- Increases damage reduction by 26% (another 26% when HP drops below 50%)
- At 6 stars: When an ally enters Wild state OR triggers any elemental reaction (Ignite, Shock, Chill, Freeze, etc.), they get healed for 18% of Venus's max HP (triggers every 5 seconds)
This is absolutely insane value. Build her with max HP and she becomes a passive healing machine just for doing what your team already wants to do.
Overdrive: Equalize
- Equalizes HP percentages across all allies
- Then restores 25% of each ally's max HP
- Whenever a stun or silence is applied to an ally (and not removed), reduces that ally's next Overdrive energy cost by 1
- 4-turn cooldown
This is basically an "oh crap" button that resets your entire team's survivability. The energy cost reduction is a massive bonus that people sleep on.
Ultimate: Heart Seed
- Targets the lowest HP ally
- Heals all allies in a large circular area around them for 21% of Venus's max HP
Stack HP. Stack HP. Stack HP. Did I mention stack HP?
Secret Skill: Bewitchment
- First time Venus is hit by a melee luminary, she charms them for 9 seconds (+6 seconds at higher star levels = 15 seconds total)
- Charm: Target can't use skills, forced to auto-attack Venus's current target
- While charming, Venus can't be taunted
This is what makes her an anti-assassin monster. Those pesky melee divers who think they can delete your backline? They fall in love and spend 15 seconds doing nothing useful.
Special Skill: Siren Strings
- Deals 140% magic damage in a straight line
- Applies 45% attack speed slow for 8 seconds
- AppliesAttack Down(30%) to targets already affected by elemental debuffs
Line up your positioning, and this skill neuters entire enemy teams while setting up your carries.

Equipment & Artifact Recommendations
Best Gear Sets
Go for one of these two setups:
- Starshine Set (Energy Cost Reduction) - Let her spam skills more frequently
- Mystic Set (Skill Haste) - Faster rotations = more healing = more Divine Melody procs
Primary stat priority: HP% > Defense > Speed. Remember, most of her heals scale off HER max HP, not the target's.
Artifact Choices
- If running Tyrfing: Lance of Longinus
- Otherwise: Standard Resonance artifact for team-wide benefits
Positioning Tips
This is crucial, so listen up: Siren Strings is a straight-line AoE.
Before battle starts, check enemy positioning. Place Venus in the lane with the most enemies lined up. This maximizes your debuff application and can turn fights before they even start.
Also, because Bewitchment triggers on first melee hit, youwanther to get attacked by divers. Position her where assassins typically path, and watch them waste 15 seconds auto-attacking a tanky priest.

Best Team Compositions for Venus
Wild Spirit Team
The Wild faction has been quietly stacking power, and Venus is the final piece.
- Frontline: Athena or Oberon (free option)
- Damage Dealers: Tyrfing, Marilis, Fugin & Munin, Minotaur (honestly any Wild warrior slaps)
- Support: Venus
This team is tanky, disruptive, and never dies. Venus keeps everyone topped up while Titania provides additional utility.

Elemental Resonance Team
Venus was literally designed for this comp. Her passive triggers off elemental reactions, so why not build around them?
- Frontline: Oberon
- Damage Dealers: Ifrit, Siegfried, Fenrir, Poseidon (everyone has him!)
- Support: Venus
Every time you trigger Ignite, Shock, or Freeze, Venus passively heals. Every time an enemy has an elemental debuff, Siren Strings debuffs them further. It's a perfect synergy loop.

Cross-Faction "Black Dragon" Hybrid
This is the spicy comp that's been trending in high-rank Coliseum:
- Frontline/Carry: Tyrfing (yes, put him front)
- Support: Venus
- Flex DPS: Jormungandr, Medusa, or Poseidon

The current meta involves Black Dragon + Arcane Lord + Tyrfing for rapid cost reduction and early transforms. The problem? This comp lacks sustain. Venus solves that completely, keeping Tyrfing alive while charming anyone who tries to dive him.
