Each wave, place 5 gems (of a random type) and choose one to keep. Combine like gems into higher quality gems, as well as upgrade your gem level to place higher quality gems each round. Each type of gem has unique traits and abilities.
Slates are powerful towers that DO NOT block the creeps path, BUT, slates can be moved and placed under (in the same location or overlapping) with other gems and some slates.
