Enable Virtualization Technology (VT) on GIGABYTE computer and motherboard

This article will talk about how to enable VT on GIGABYTE computer and motherboard through BIOS.

 

1. How to enable VT on Gigabyte motherboard

STEP 1

Restart the computer. When the screen is on, press the key prompted on the screen repeatedly. If there is no prompt, try pressing the "Del" key repeatedly to enter BIOS.

STEP 2

After entering the BIOS, select "BIOS Features" > "Intel Virtualization Technology", switch from Disabled to Enabled, and finally press "F10" to save and exit.

Note: If your computer processor is AMD CPU, select M.I.T.  > "Advanced Frequency Settings" > "Advanced CPU Core Settings" > "SVM mode", switch from Disabled to Enabled, and finally press "F10" to save and exit.

2. How to enable VT on Gigabyte computer

After entering the BIOS, select "M.I.T."  > "Advanced Frequency Settings" > "Advanced CPU Core Settings" > "SVM Mode", switch from Disabled to Enabled, and finally press "F10" to save and exit.

If there are many items named "Auto" after entering "Advanced CPU Core Settings", as shown in the following picture, click "Chipset" > "Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x)", switch from "Disabled" to "Enabled", and finally press "F10" to save and exit.
