How to Fix Initiation Failed Error when Opening The Emulator

Some players might encounter this "Initiation failed!" error when trying to open the emulator. There are several methods to fix it.

Method 1: Run LDPlayer as administrator

Right click on the emulator icon and select “Run as administrator” in the dropdown menu.

(To run LDPlayer as an administrator by default without having to enable this option every time, right click on the emulator icon and navigate to Properties > Compatibility > Check “Run this program as an administrator”.)

Method 2: Run LDPlayer in compatibility mode

Right click on the emulator icon and navigate to Properties > Compatibility. Check “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” and select Windows 7 in the dropdown menu below this option.

Method 3: Overwrite install the latest version of LDPlayer 9

Method 4: Add a new instance in LDMultiPlayer

Open LDMultiPlayer and add a new instance. If the newly added instance can be open without any error, then it means the original instance that cannot be open has been corrupted. Please use the new instance instead.

Method 5: Uninstall the current LDPlayer and reinstall in another disk

Uninstall the current LDPlayer that cannot be open, and install it again in another folder or another disk.
