How to Fix g_bGuestPoweroff fastpipeapi.cpp: 1161/1153 Error

2025-03-14

If you’re using LDPlayer on your Windows 8 or Windows 10 computer and the error code: g_bGuestPoweroff fastpipeapi.cpp:1161/1153 pops up during the loading of the software, you will fail to launch your virtual Android device and it stops at 50%. But no worries, this tutorial will help you fix the g_bGuestPoweroff error.

g_bGuestPoweroff-fastpipeapi.cpp1161

If you just normally fail to launch LDPlayer, it is possible that you haven’t enabled Virtualization Technology (VT), a technology that would greatly increase the performance of virtual machine. The first thing you need to do is make sure you’ve enabled VT on your computer.

However, the error of g_bGuestPoweroff may also pop up after you’ve enabled the VT. The error is probably caused by the conflicts between the emulator and your Windows Server Virtualization - Hyper-v, Virtual Machine Platform, Windows Sandbox, and Windows Hypervisor Platform. Having those Windows features turned on will prevent LDPlayer from utilizing the VT. Thus, you need to shut them down.
